The Brief

The works involved S278 road construction to form the new entrances into the fire station. Construction included a 250m long pumped sewer main to an existing Severn Trent Water foul sewer in Cheltenham Road involving close liaison with Severn Trent Waters inspector, and utilising a specialist saddle connection and demarcation manhole .

New entrances were excavated, kerbed and surfaced. Footpaths were constructed with pedestrian crossings. Walsh Sub Contracted works for the new street lighting, the electrical connections and carriageway line marking.
