Purchase Ledger Clerk – Part Time

Job Description  Job Summary This position encompasses all aspects of an accounts administration role, as part of a small office team you will need to be a good team player with the initiative to work without continued instruction. The successful candidate will have good knowledge and experience of computerised accounts systems, a motivated and positive attitude with excellent organisational skills. Part Time - 16 hours per week, FLEXIBLE Monday- Friday 09:00 - 17:00 Responsibilities and Duties Responsibility for Purchase Ledger - keeping ledger up to date and allocating payments Liaising with suppliers and dealing with any queries. Liaising with customers and dealing with any queries. Other duties as requested by Management including general office administration Qualifications and Skills Previous experience working with purchase ledger, at least 2 years experience. Good understanding of Microsoft Office Motivated and positive attitude Methodical with attention to detail Ability to work with a small team Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing. Apprenticeships

PLEASE NOTE THE APPRENTICE POSITIONS HAVE NOW BEEN FILLED FOR 2017 Here at Walsh we are always looking for the right people to join our team. The apprentice scheme we offer is site based, with a day a week at college. At college you will work towards your NVQ Level 2 in Construction and Civil Operations and a Level 2 Diploma in General Construction. Out on site you will receive on the job training and work with an experienced team. Qualified Site Operatives

Duties to include groundwork, highway works, drainage and other general civils. CSCS and other construction qualifications are an advantage.

Must have CPCS or similar for 360° 10t excavator and ideally dumper and roller, duties will also include assisting other workers on groundwork and highway activities.
